Justin Solar offers new ultimatum to Poloniex hackers

Tron founder Justin Solar has elevated the white hat bounty, providing the Poloniex hackers a $10 million reward in the event that they return the stolen funds, including that the group has already unmasked their id.

In an on-chain message to the hackers, Justin Solar gave them till Nov. 25 to return the stolen funds, as legislation enforcement from the USA, Russia, and China had been already concerned. Solar stated that the group would make full reimbursement, and provided a 5 % white hat bounty to the attackers. This provides them a seven-day ultimatum to refund the stolen belongings, which elapsed on Nov. 17.

In the meantime, Poloniex introduced on Nov. 17, that the crypto trade is trying to resume withdrawal and deposit companies within the coming week, stating that the agency will present “additional announcement relating to the precise resumption time.”

Poloniex was acquired by Circle in 2018. Solar, together with a gaggle of traders, purchased into the corporate again in 2019.
